Words have been a passion since childhood, when I wrote poetry, songs and neighborhood and classroom plays. That interest led me to study journalism in college. Although I spent many years as a newspaper journalist and in public relations, I feel like my life has come full circle. I am returning to what I always wanted to do most — write for children. My hope is to write books that are healing for children, particularly those with special needs. This theme will be reflected throughout my blog. I want my blog to be a resource for parents, grandparents and teachers who are searching for a special gem that will help a child through a tough time. I love travel, the arts, classical music, opera, and musical theater. I am spiritual and involved in many humanitarian projects. My life experiences are varied and I have much to share with you. My husband and I live in Ohio. We have a large extended family, and have parented children with special needs.
Warmly,
Patricia Tilton

Good Morning! I was hoping to email you a media press release of my new book, Daily Bread, a MG historical fiction set in the Lower East of NYC 1911. It is the first book in the series, Becoming America’s Stories. Thank you.

Patricia- thanks for bringing that issue to my attention. I e mailed the blogger to ask why she was doing that. What an odd thing. I would never have found this out, but several of my posts are there. Shouldn’t be happening, but there’s nothing but an e mail for contact. Can’t imagine what benefit there is to pirating my reviews!
